Valentine's Day Sale Faceted Impression Jasper and Aquamarine Necklace with Brazilian Picture Jasper Pendant
What a glorious pendant! To me, it looks like a painted picture of a mother sitting on a park bench, watching her children play at the park.
I selected faceted Aqua Terra Jasper (or Sea Sediment Jasper) and Aquamarine gemstone beads for an earthy design with sparkle. Rarely will you find Impression Jasper in a faceted form. I wanted to make sure the beads complimented the pendant, and did not distract from it.
The 18mm Aqua Terra Jasper beads in this necklace are amazing. The faceting of the beads not only bring out the rich brown and blue, but add sparkle to the gemstones. The 10mm Aquamarine rondelles are a stunning shade of blue. I added Sawrovski copper crystals, and finished the necklace using 10mm Aqua Terra Jasper round beads.
The neutral colors in this chunky design allow the necklace to be worn with a variety of colors, for almost any occasion. This necklace can dress up a pair of jeans, would add color to a neutral office outfit, or has enough sparkle to be worn in the evening.
** 17" in length, (43.2 cm) and finished with a silver plated copper toggle clasp.
The name jasper comes from the Greek and means "spotted stone." Aqua Terra (Water and Earth -- the blue & green varieties of Sea Sediment Jasper) is a wonderful stone for helping one find inner peace, clarity, love and compassion, helps with the alignment of the physical and "Light" bodies and is an excellent stone for emotional healing.

Aquamarine's name means 'water of the sea', and so is thought to protect sailors and ships. Said to increase rational thought and intelligence and make persons astute in business matters. Aquamarine is a translucent to transparent blue to pale green Beryl.
